Privacy

When. is a period tracker, so the data it holds is personal. We keep as little as we can and we never sell it. Here is the whole of it in plain words.

What we store

• Your email address, so we can sign you in and reach you about your account.
• The cycle and period lengths you enter, and your timezone.
• The period start dates we read from the Google or Notion calendar you connect, and the predictions we write back.
• Access tokens for the calendars you connect, so we can sync on your behalf. We store them to do that and nothing else.
• Basic subscription status from our payment provider, so we know whether your access is active.

What we do with it

We use your data to predict your cycle and keep your connected calendar in sync. That is the only purpose. We do not run ads, we do not profile you, and we do not share or sell your data to anyone.

Who else is involved

A few services help us run When.:

• Google and Notion, only for the calendar you choose to connect.
• Lemon Squeezy, our payment provider, which handles checkout and billing. We never see your card details.
• Our hosting provider, where the app and its database run.

Each of these sees only what it needs to do its job.

Keeping it safe

Connections to When. are encrypted in transit. We limit who can reach the data and we read events only from the last six months when we sync.

Your data is yours

You can disconnect a calendar at any time from the dashboard. Ask us and we will delete your account and everything tied to it. Removing your account removes your data from When.; the predictions we wrote to your own calendar stay there for you to keep or delete.
